Incident Management Guidelines
Exit denial or pending detention may be associated with imminent legal actions, investigations, commercial or political disputes, or corruption issues. Such risks presented to an individual may be transferred to other members of the organization and may escalate past the initial problem to become more significant and far‐reaching in nature. In some countries, exit visas may also be denied due to shifting government policies or through personalities, causing short‐term disruptions to travel, rather than presenting actual risks.
In the event of a pending detention or exit denial incident occurring, the following points should be addressed:
